At Time Traveler, we focus on doing one thing — comprehensive data backup and disaster recovery — and doing it extremely well.

Most of our clients are running substantial businesses with mission critical data, much of it privacy-sensitive, and they rely heavily on the full services of Time Traveler Backups’ full version. However, on occasion we meet customers who want a scaled back version of our service that offers similar protection on a much smaller scale. For them, we offer Time Traveler Backups Lite.

Who is Time Traveler Lite for?

Time Traveler Lite Backups is often a good fit for smaller offices, home offices, laptop users, and even individuals that want a full system backup and disaster recovery.

Is there an external hard drive?

Time Traveler Lite Backups backs up to the cloud only, which makes it great for laptops. However, many of our clients prefer the security of knowing their backups are not reliant upon an internet connection, and choose Time Traveler Backups Full instead.

I'm small. Is there any reason why I wouldn't choose the Lite version?

Because Time Traveler Backups Lite is a cloud-only backup solution, the size of your data and the speed of your Internet connection(s) must be considered when determining if this product is a good fit for you. We are more than happy to help you decide which version is right for you.

How much is Time Traveler Backups Lite?

Time Traveler Backups Lite begins as low as US $29.00/month (12-month contract) for a Workstation with 250GB of cloud storage. A full Server with up to 250GB of cloud storage is US $95.00/month.

How much is Time Traveler Backups Full?

Time Traveler Backups Full charges customers a monthly subscription fee that includes everything you need to protect your business. We provide all hardware, all software, and all the services associated with implementing our solution, monitoring and testing your backups, and assisting you in the event of a disaster. There is nothing to purchase and no hidden costs associated with our service. Our prices are based principally on the number of machines (servers, workstations, or both) that we back up and the total amount of data stored on those machines. Because each system is customized to the client, the monthly subscription fee varies. Fees begin at US $150.00/month.

Can I mix and match Full and Lite?

Yes, you can mix Time Traveler Backups Full and Lite. For example, you may want to have Full for your server(s) and mission critical workstations, but want Lite for non-essential workstations and/or laptops. Clients that have a server under our Full backup subscription can add Lite workstations/laptops for as low as $14.00/month.
